I have the SAME problem! But this is what I do and it works great:

chicken broth. you can buy little square tablets that are 10 calories each and make TONS of soup (you can just drop them in water and microwave!)

FIBER ONE BARS! this one is my favorite. it’s a “PERFECT* & HEALTHY snack! They come in chocolate chip and peanut butter! I love the chocolate ones! mmm (every person i know who has ever tried mine loved them)

drink LOTS of water (it keeps you full!)

    CHEW GUM!

    Distract yourself (if possible)

(this one is mean but…) look at the overweight people around you and tell yourself you don’t want to someday be like them (i’m so sorry but it’s what i do…)

ANYWAYS these all work great for me :] i actually dont even snack now because i am so strict but when i was trying to make small changes a long time ago thats what i used to do. Anything is better then VENDING MACHINE SNACKS!!! if you HAVE to have something from the vending machine get the baked snacks :)

    goodluck

Green Tea is a natural appetite suppressant. I have read up on this and use it regularly. My wife is Japanese and credits Green Tea to providing a nice pick me up and controlling her appetite.

I eat up to 15 cashews or almonds myself when I need something to satisfy my hunger. It is healthy, packed with protein and nutrients and lowers bad cholesterol. It’s a slam dunk in my book.
